UI/UX Design

UI/UX Design for Clear Website Journeys

User journeys, information architecture and interface design for websites and digital products.

Design, development and a practical plan for your business.

Is this the right fit?

Start with what your business needs.

For a website or workflow where visitors struggle to find information, complete a task or understand what happens next.

01

Understand the task and the content

We map the key user journeys using the business requirements and available customer feedback. The aim is to identify the information, decisions and possible errors at each step. Where evidence is missing, assumptions are recorded so they can be checked rather than presented as research findings.

02

Turn the structure into usable screens

Wireframes establish the page hierarchy before visual styling. Detailed designs then define typography, controls, spacing and responsive behaviour. Forms include labels and error states; navigation needs to work with keyboards as well as touch and a mouse.

03

Make handover practical

The design includes the states a developer needs, not just a polished default screen. We define reusable components and document key behaviours. A review with realistic content helps identify awkward lengths, missing states and unclear actions before implementation.

04

Website UI/UX design starts with the visitor’s decision

Information architecture and interface design work together. We identify the audience, its questions and the next useful action before arranging page components. A product selection journey may need comparison information, while a service enquiry needs scope and qualification details. The design brief records which tasks matter and what content is available to support them.

05

Use realistic content to review the interface

Test layouts with long names, varied images, missing optional content and actual business terminology. Review navigation, focus visibility, error feedback and smaller-screen behaviour as part of the agreed design scope. Where user research or usability testing is required, the participants, method and deliverables are scoped explicitly. A polished screen alone does not establish that a journey has been validated with users.

A clear scope

Know what you’re building.

We agree the page list, features, responsibilities and launch plan before development. Final deliverables and costs are confirmed in your project proposal.

  • User journey and information architecture
  • Wireframes for agreed tasks and pages
  • Responsive interface designs
  • Component states and implementation notes

Before we begin

UI/UX Design
questions, answered.

Ask about your project ↗
Is UI/UX the same as website development?

No. UI/UX defines the structure, visual interface and behaviour. Development turns the approved design into working software. The services can be scoped together.

Do you test with users?

Research and usability testing are agreed separately according to access, budget and project needs. We do not claim user validation when a design has only had an internal review.

Can you improve just one difficult page?

Yes. A product page, enquiry form or navigation journey can be reviewed as a focused task if the surrounding context is available.

What will the developer receive?

The agreed screens, responsive guidance, reusable components and important interaction states. The exact file format and level of documentation are confirmed before work begins.

Does the UI/UX scope include development?

It can, but design deliverables and production implementation are identified separately. The brief clarifies layouts, prototypes, interaction notes, content requirements and who will build the approved interface.

Can you improve only a specific website journey?

Yes. A focused brief can cover navigation, product discovery or a contact journey without assuming a complete redesign. We first review the current experience and the problem the change needs to address.
